Insurance and Payments All of the procedures performed in our Advance office fall under the "office-based procedures" category with certain insurance plans. This means that, depending on your insurance plan, you will be able to have your Screening Colonoscopy procedure completed at our office at a lower cost than at a Hospital or Ambulatory Care Center; potentially just your standard co-pay. This applies to most patients with BCBS, Cigna and Aetna coverage. Check with your insurance carrier whether this benefit is available to you. Accreditation/Ownership Our office based procedure suite is accredited by Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care - also known as AAAHC - a private, non-profit organization formed to assist ambulatory health care organizations improve the quality of care provided to patients.
